Women’s Healthcare

We remain close to each individual's physical and mental changes with specialized medical care tailored to every life stage. A woman's body changes significantly throughout her life, heavily influenced by hormones. At the turning points of each life stage, such as the onset of menstruation during adolescence, pregnancy and childbirth, and menopause and post-menopause, various physical and mental discomforts may arise. It is not uncommon for individuals to endure these issues, thinking, "It's inevitable due to age," or "It's probably not serious enough to visit a clinic." We, as obstetricians and gynecologists, are your partners who consistently support you through menstrual concerns, pregnancy, menopause, and subsequent health. It is essential to acknowledge subtle changes in your health or minor daily discomforts as signs from your own body. At our clinic, we aim to provide medical care that supports women in living healthy, authentic lives. We prioritize careful counseling and consultation to ensure you feel at ease seeking advice.

Women’s Lifetime and Hormone Balance

There is a “reason” behind every change in a woman’s body. The secretion of female hormones fluctuates significantly, much like a wave, from the teenage years through the 60s and beyond. These fluctuations can lead to menstrual troubles, mood swings, and general physical discomfort. Knowing your body’s rhythm and learning to manage it well is the first step in women’s healthcare.

Significant Changes by Life Stage

Adolescence (Teens)

Hormone balance tends to be unstable with the onset of menstruation, and many suffer from irregular periods or PMS.

Maturity (20s–40s)

Work and lifestyle, as well as pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting, heavily influence women during this time.

Menopause (40s–50s)

Female hormone secretion rapidly decreases, making one prone to discomfort of the autonomic nervous system and mood swings.

Senior Years (60s and Beyond)

Changes after menopause, such as reduced bone density, urinary troubles, and vaginal atrophy, require attention.

Concerns You Can Consult Us About

“I’m a little concerned,” “I feel slightly anxious…” Please feel free to consult us at such times. Minor discomforts felt in daily life may be signs from your body. Our clinic carefully addresses the following concerns unique to women:

Menstrual Concerns

Please consult us about menstrual pain, irregularity, or PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome)—issues that are a part of your “monthly life”—without enduring excessive discomfort. Many women experience menstrual discomfort. But they often endure it as “just normal.” Please consult us about anything, including severe menstrual pain, heavy bleeding, irregular cycles, irritability, or mood swings.

Menstrual Cycle Adjustment

Before a trip, an important scheduled event, an exam, or a sporting event. Simply shifting your period can make a day more comfortable. If you are “anxious about your period coinciding with an event” or “must avoid a certain date,” an early consultation is effective. We can adjust the timing of your period using hormone medication (the pill).

Menopause Concerns

Hormonal imbalances often start as “vague discomfort” but can be eased with early care. In the late 40s to early 50s, female hormone secretion rapidly decreases, making one prone to discomfort of the autonomic nervous system and emotional disturbances. If you notice signs of menopause, such as hot flashes, irritability, heart palpitations, or easy fatigue, please consult us without enduring it alone.
