What is Baby Massage? Baby massage involves gently massaging the baby’s skin with oil. Through skin-to-skin contact with the baby, it is said that various positive effects are experienced not only by the baby but also by the mother performing the massage.

For the baby, the moderate stimulation from the massage is believed to promote brain development and enhance metabolism and immunity through improved circulation. In addition, welcome benefits that support daily childcare, such as reduced stomach discomfort and deeper sleep, can be expected.

Furthermore, for the mother, the benefit is that the postpartum mind and body can easily become calm by touching the baby’s soft skin and feeling their joyful expressions. This promotes the secretion of oxytocin (the “love hormone”) and endorphins (the “happiness hormone”), leading to increased confidence and positive feelings toward childcare.

Primary Benefits for Your Baby:

  • Supports Brain Development
  • Enhances Immunity and Metabolism
  • Alleviates Abdominal Discomfort
  • Improves Sleep Quality
  • Promotes Mind-Body Relaxation
